3.5.2 LOADING PROCEDURE
LOADING PROCEDURE
• Stop the vehicle so that the arm is
lined up with the roller cart;
• The distance between the vehicle
and the roller cart has to be 4 to 9
feet (1.25 M. to 2.75 M.);
• With the joystick, control the inner
boom to go down from its initial
position (figure #3.37);
• Start opening the grabber halfway
down before it hits the roller cart;
• Extend the outer boom to reach the
roller cart and close the grabber by
pushing the trigger on top of the
joystick (figure #3.37);
• Raise the roller cart at about 2 feet
from the ground;
• Retract the outer boom to the end of
its stroke;
• Pull the joystick to raise the inner
boom to the armrest inside the
hopper. The garbage then should
fall down;
• Ensure that the roller cart is empty
before putting it back in place;
• Retract both the inner and outer
booms to storage position.
DO NOT OPEN THE GRABBER
WHILE LIFTING UP A ROLLER
CART; IT WILL FALL DOWN.
THIS MAY RESULT IN DAMAGE
TO THE ROLLER CART, THE
EQUIPMENT AND/OR CAUSE
INJURY.
