7. Operation Instructions
Burstberry is based on FB4 and can be controlled in three ways. Art-Net, Autoplay and Beyond/QS.
Art-Net
FB4 uses for its functionality maximum 39 DMX channels (FB4 mode). There is also
blinder LED
and
grating wheel
installed in Burstberry. Currently there are 4 channels which controls blinder LED
intensity, grating wheel On/Off, grating wheel rotation direction, grating wheel rotation speed.
Specification for 43 DMX channels (FB4 mode) is below.
Way how additional Burstberry channels are used is done manually by editing „settings.ini“ file which is
located on SD card.
If we consider 43 DMX channels, then one UNIVERSE (512 channels) can control only
11 Burstberry projectors. That’s why standard DMX connector is not available. DMX
control will be just using Art-Net (DMX over Ethernet). Using Art-Net is it possible to
select and play cue form SD card and also change possible parameters related to
playback.
