- Reinstall side gearbox 1.
- Reinstall bolts 2:
• Torque: 2,5 daN m (18 lbf ft).
- Reinstall the 2 nuts (3):
• Torque: 2,5 daN m (18 lbf ft).
4. Storage
At the end of each season
- Clean the machine thoroughly:
• The rotor.
• The inner panels.
• Rotor housings.
• Roller housings.
- Touch up any areas of damaged paintwork.
- Lubricate all mechanical components correctly to
protect them from corrosion.
- Put the machine under cover in a dry place.
- Check the condition of the fixing elements regularly
and also the torque of the knife-fixing bolt. Replace if
necessary.
- Check that the original safety decals are in their
original location, undamaged and legible.
- Drain bevel gearbox and fill with new oil.
- Slacken V-belts and check their condition.
