1. Putting the machine into work
position
From the transport position:
- Connect the 2 hydraulic hoses of the drawbar shift
cylinder to a double acting valve (1).
- Connect mowing unit lift cylinder hoses to a double
acting valve (2).
- Connect the control handle plug to the tractor 3-pin
socket.
- Raise tractor lift linkage in high position.
- Operate mowing unit lift cylinder to lower work wheels
closest to the ground without them touching it.
- Operate drawbar shift cylinder to pivot and position
machine perpendicular to the drawbar.
- Operate mowing unit lift cylinders to lower work
wheels until they touch the ground.
- Simultaneously operate push-button of control handle
and transport wheel cylinders to raise the transport
wheels.
- Operate drawbar shift cylinder to pivot and place the
machine to the tractor's right or left.
- Move forward to put the machine work wheels in line
with the tractor wheels.
- Operate mowing unit lift cylinder to lower the mowing
units on the ground.
- Lower the tractor's lift linkage to tension the check
chains.
The machine is in working position.
Before placing the machine in working
position:
- Check that nobody is within the machine
pivoting area.
- If there is someone, make sure the
person moves away.
