2. Adjustments in working position
Cutting height
To adjust the cutting height:
- Adjust central skid.
and
- Replace side skids.
Central skid adjustment
- Operate mowing unit lift cylinders to place the
machine in raised position.
- Place wedges underneath cutterbars.
- Operate mowing unit lift cylinder to place the machine
onto the wedges.
- Remove screw (2).
- Remove pin (1).
- Position skid opposite hole that corresponds to the
required adjustment.
- Reinstall pin (1).
- Refit screw (2):
• Torque: 8.5 daN m (63 lbf ft).
Place the machine on flat ground.
The cutting height is adjusted with the
machine attached, hitch pins at
650 mm (2’1’’) from the ground.
Relationship between the skid adjustment and
the cutting height:
- Adjustment (a):
• Cutting height: 80 mm (3.2’’)
- Adjustment (b):
• Cutting height: 40 mm (1.6’’)
- Adjustment (c):
• Cutting height: 30 mm (1.2’’)
