Belt set replacement
Remove 4 bolts (1).
Remove belt guard (2).
Loosen nut (1) to slacken belts.
Remove the 3 V-belts (2).
Fit new belt sets.
Tighten nut (1) to obtain optimal belt tension:
- Apply a force of 35 N (1.6 lbf) on the belt. the belt
should not deflect more than (X) = 10 mm (0.4’’).
Reinstall belt guard:
- Torque: 4.9 daN m (36 lbf ft).
Braking system
The braking system is mounted and adjusted either at
the factory or by your Kuhn dealer. No adjustment is
required.
Contact your Kuhn dealer for any service operation.
Never replace belts individually. When a belt is
damaged, always replace the whole set:
- (Part no. 83101696).
