Selecting the conditioning surface of the comb
The comb can be turned over to modify the conditioning
intensity:
- A more aggressive side for gramineous plants.
- A softer side for more delicate varieties.
Adjustment:
- Remove 2 bolts (1).
- Slide pin (2).
- Turn over comb to the other position.
- Clean and reassemble the unit:
• Torque: 5 daN m (37 lbf ft).
- Proceed the same way on the other side.
Swathing system
The swathing system comprises:
- 2 swath shields (1).
Swath width adjustment:
- Loosen 2 handles (2):
• Pivot swath shields inwards to reduce the swath
width.
• Pivot swath shields outwards to increase the swath
width.
- Tighten 2 handles (2).
- The twin windrow width is adjustable from
1.40 m (4’7’’) to 2.20 m (7’3’’) approximately.
Make sure that the combs of the two mowing
units are set to the same conditioning surface.
