Conditioning intensity
Conditioning comb
Several factors govern the conditioning intensity
adjustment:
- Adjusting the angular position of the comb.
- Selecting the conditioning surface of the comb.
Adjusting the angular position of the comb:
- Unlock hood (1) using box spanner.
- Lift hood.
The control lever is used to adjust the conditioning comb
to 5 different positions.
- Raise control lever to reduce the conditioning
intensity (a).
- Lower control lever to increase the conditioning
intensity (b).
- Lower and lock hood (1).
- Proceed the same way on the other side.
- Check that the adjustment is identical on the 2
mowing units
.
Operate mowing unit lift cylinder to lower the
mowing units on the ground.
Before leaving the tractor or before
adjusting, maintaining or repairing the
machine, disengage the PTO drive, turn off
the engine, remove ignition key and wait until
all moving parts have come to a complete
stop and apply park brake.
If the leaves are damaged and the stalks are
crushed, reduce the conditioning intensity.
During the season, check that the
conditioning comb is not blocked up by
foreign material.
Clean the conditioning comb to keep its
efficiency.
