ENGINE

Front Axle Support as a Unit

1. Make sure the clutch housing case and front frame are securely

mounted on the disassembling stands.

2. Install the front axle rocking restrictor (1) (refer to “8. SPECIAL

TOOL” at “G. GENERAL” section) to the front axle bracket.

3. Remove the front frame mounting screws and separate the front

axle as a unit from the engine.

(When reassembling)

(2) Separating Engine

Muffler, Air Cleaner Hose and Pipe Clamp

1. Remove the muffler (1) and air cleaner hose (3).
2. Remove the pipe clamp (2).

Accelerator Wire, Fuel Hose and Wire Harness

1. Disconnect the accelerator wire (4) and fuel hose (2).
2. Disconnect the wire harness from water temperature sensor (3),

engine speed sensor (5) and glow plug (1).

3. Disconnect the fuel hose (9) from fuel filter.
4. Disconnect the

connector (10) from alternator (11) and wire

harness from alternator

terminal (6).

5. Disconnect the wire harness from the engine oil pressure switch

(8).

6. Disconnect the

connector (7) from engine stop solenoid.
