ENGINE

Separating Engine and Generator

1. Disconnect the stator cables.

2. Remove the air cleaner, muffler and radiator hoses.

3. Remove the fan cover.

4. Remove the generator cover and disconnect the wiring harness.

5. Remove the generator mounting nuts.

6. Loosen the engine mounting nuts.

7. Lift up the engine and remove the generator from generator fixed

bolt.

8. Remove the rear bracket (1), stator (2), front bracket (3) and rotor

(4).
