Choke (50 SX)

The choke knob
is fitted on the left of the carburetor.
Activating the choke function frees an opening through which the engine can draw
extra fuel. This gives a richer fuel-air mixture, which is needed for a cold start.

If the engine is warm, the choke function must be deactivated.
Possible states
• Choke function activated

Choke knob is in upper position. The O-ring is visible.
• Choke function deactivated
–
Choke knob is in lower position. No O-ring is visible.
