Before first use
Before using the appliance for the first time,
the appliance should be taken apart and

residues from the manufacturing process.
■

motor unit and lift out the lid obliquely

Preparation of Ice-cream
Freeze the empty freezing container for at
least 24 hours at -18 °C, making sure that
the container is completely dry both inside
and outside and that the opening is not
covered.
Prepare the ice-cream mixture (see recipes).
Warm mixtures should be pre-cooled in the
refrigerator.
Due to the volume increase during
preparation, the quantity of ice-cream
mixture must not exceed 1 kg for sorbets or
1 litre for milk-based ices. Take this into
account when using your own recipes.
First assemble the motor and lid. Then have
the prepared and pre-cooled ice-cream
mixture ready to hand before taking the
freezing container out of the freezer.

Push the motor unit onto the lid until it
engages properly (3).
Remove the freezing container from the
freezer.
■
Insert the stirring paddle into the
container (4).
■
Place the lid onto the freezing container
with the projections properly located at
the edge. Then secure the lid at the rear
with a click onto the container (5).
