A1.2 Mounting the swath cloth
The swath cloth is mounted between the rotors under
the lengthways frame. The angle bar (5) is mounted on
the machine in the factory.

• It is essential for all care, maintenance, repair and assembly work on the rotary swather
that the PTO shaft is switched off.
• Shut down the engine and remove the ignition key.
• Secure tractor and rotary swather against rolling away!
Shift the sleeve onto the reinforcement (1) and insert it into
the pockets of the swath cloth (3) with the round steel (2).
Screw the swath cloth with the steel strip (4) on to the angle
bar (5).
Screw on the round steel (2) between angle bar and
mounting link. The attachment bolt must be tightened only
so far that the round steel is still able to swing freely.
