Handling the swather when in use
•
Disengage the lock via the actuating cable and set
the tractor hydraulics actuation lever to „Lift“.
•
Keep pulling the actuating cable until the pin on the
swather arm has gone past the engagement point for
the working position. Raise the swather arms until the
lock has snapped into the transport position.
4.4.4 Lifting the rotor arms
Make sure that the transport position
snaps in correctly and that the

for transport (see photo).

– Fold the hoop guard (3)
– Pull the hinged cotter pin, remove the locking bolts (5)
and insert then into the outside bore hole. Then secure
the hinged cotter pin (4) in place.
– Loosen the cone grip (1) and set screw.
– Push the swath cloth (2) in as far as possible.
– Tighten the cone grip (1) and set screw again.
If the swath cloth is in the transport
position, the PTO shaft must not be
turned on.
4.4.3 Pushing the swath cloth into
transport position
To avoid any damage caused by the tines
on the front swath cloth, the front swath
cloth must be folded over to the „One
side swath“ transport position.
(refer to Chapter „Switching from two
