Faults – Causes and Remedy
11.1 Special Safety Instructions
•
The following general rules apply to all maintenance, assembly, repair and adjustment
work: Bring the machine to a complete standstill. Switch off the motor. Remove ignition
key. Cut supply voltage to comfort controls.
•
Secure the tractor and rotary swather against rolling.
•
Avoid skin contact with oil and grease.
•
In case of injuries caused by oils, seek immediate medical assistance.
•
Follow all further safety instructions, to avoid accidents and injuries.
11.2 General Faults, Causes and Remedy

Working depth set too high

Reduce the driving speed.
Recommended value 8-10 km/h.
With uneven terrain or high crop
quantity, drive slower if necessary.
Revs too low
Increase the revs. Recommended

Wrong setting of lateral rotor inclination
Modify lateral inclinination setting

Tine arm(s) crooked
Replace tine arms
Working depth set too low
Set working depth higher
