10.11 Moving cross conveyors

The cross conveyors can be adapted to the operating conditions by moving.
ü
The machine is in the working position, refer to page 53 .
„ Raise or lower the cross conveyors until the dimension is X=13 cm (measured between the
rubber buffer and the frame).
ð
Therefore the cross conveyors are pendulum mounted after having loosened the
screws (3) and they can be moved manually.
„ Shut down and safeguard the machine, refer to page 24 .
„
Close the stop cock (2).
„ Loosen the screws (3) but do not dismount them.
„
Move the cross conveyors manually.
„ Tighten the screws (3).
„
Open the stop cock (2).
10.12 Setting the accelerator rollers
For the "accelerator roller" version

The swath width can be influenced by means of the accelerator roller (1). The higher the
accelerator roller (1) is set, the wider the crops are distributed and the narrower becomes the
swath.
When the accelerator roller (1) is used, move the cross conveyor belt (3) so that the accelerator
roller (1) is outside the conditioner (2).
