When using the machine without cross conveyor belt
ü
The machine is in the working position, refer to page 53 .
„ Shut down and safeguard the machine, refer to page 24 .
„
Remove the deflector sheets (2) from the support (1) and put them aside.
„
Raise the cross conveyor belts via the terminal, Lifting/lowering both cross conveyor belts
simultaneously .
„
Switch off the tractor engine, remove the ignition key and take it with you.
„
Close the stop cock (3) on the cross conveyor belt.
„
Completely open the swath flaps (4), Setting the swathing.
„
Mount the deflector sheets (2) and tighten the palm knobs (5) by hand.
„ Ensure that the palm knobs are tightened as tight as possible. Otherwise they may be lost
due to vibrations.
„
Open the stock cock (3) on the cross conveyor belt.
Adjusting deflector sheets
Depending on the operating conditions, the deflector sheets (2) may have to be adjusted in
order to provide for equal distribution across the entire area.
ü The machine is in the working position, refer to page 53 .
„
Raise the cross conveyor belts, refer to page 54 .
„ Shut down and safeguard the machine, refer to page 24 . Close the stop cock (3) on the
cross conveyor belt.
„
Adjust the deflector sheets (2) and tighten the palm knobs (5) by hand.
„ Ensure that the palm knobs are tightened as tight as possible. Otherwise they may be lost
due to vibrations.
„
Open the stock cock (3) on the cross conveyor belt.
10.9.1 Setting widespreading sheet

The machine is in the working position, refer to page 53 .

The machine is shut down and safeguarded, refer to page 24 .
„ Loosen the palm knobs (1) on right-hand and left-hand machine side.
„
Move the widespreading sheet (2) to the desired position.
In case of swathing, the widespreading sheet must be set completely down.
