A1.1.1 General information
To ensure that the wagon will take the optimum load, the
height of the tow-bar must be matched to the type of
tractor being used.
When the wagon is attached, the distance measured
between the upper edge of the frame at the front and
ground must be
x = 1.29 - 1.32 m

A1.1.2 Special safety instructions
•
The following applies during any maintenance, assembly, repair and adjustment work: The
machine must be shut down. The engine must be switched off. The ignition key must be
removed. The tractor and short-cut feeder wagon must be secured against rolling away.
•
The height adjustment (articulated tow-bar) and the angle adjustment of the towing eye must
only be carried out by the specialist dealer.
•
The hydraulic height adjustment must only be used for unloading on a level stretch.
•
Use on the road is only permitted with the articulated tow-bar lowered.
•
Repair work on the hydraulic unit must only be carried out by a trained specialist.
•
When working on the tow-bar, this must be secured against dropping unintentionally.

•
Suspend the towing eye (1) of the wagon by the tractor
hitch (2).
