Hydraulic system
5.1 Special safety instructions
•
Before starting work on the hydraulic unit, depressurise the system. Hydraulic fluids escaping
under pressure can cause serious injury. In case of injury, immediately call a doctor.
•
Repair work on the hydraulic system must only be carried out by a trained specialist.
With the standard and the operator-friendly unit, the
solenoid valve unit
is located on the end of the wagon at the front and right
under the protecting box.
In case there is a total breakdown of the electrical system,
the valves have been fitted <<with a manually operated
Emergency-Stop >> (see Page V - 4 and V - 5). These are
operated by using a pointed object to press in the valve
(see (1) and (2)).
Emergency operation of the valves for the pick-up etc.is
carried out by screwing in the star-wheel screw.
5.1.1 Load sensing connection
The
operator-friendly hydraulic system
has load-
sensing (LS) capability. The advantage of using this
device on tractors which have been equipped for it is the
lower energy demand which results from the smaller
quantity of heat lost in heating the oil.
When using the load-sensing system, the oil is supplied
via the Power Beyond system of the tractor hydraulic
system.
The signal cable must be connected between the LS
signal connection on the valve unit of the loading wagon
and the signal connection of the tractor. The signal cable
can be ordered from the ET Service under Item no. 333
688.
The hydraulic system screw (1) on the valve
unit must be screwed in when the signal
cable is connected.
