Operation
•
Arrange the cable connections between the tractor and the short-cut feeder wagon so that
they are not under tension when the vehicles are turning or when the tow bar is being
used and so that they do not come into contact with the wheels of the tractor.
Abide by the maximum permitted support and trailer loads.
Attach the short-cut feeder wagon to the trailer hitch in accordance with the stipulations and
secure it.
Towing eye in accordance with DIN

Trailers are only allowed to be
attached to the back of tractors with
trailer couplings designed for the
purpose (only applies to compressed
air brakes). Towing height - see Page

3.3 Hitching up to the tractor
No persons are permitted inside the
danger area.
The short-cut feeder wagon must be adjusted to the
tractor currently being used (see Appendix A
“Inital hitch up“)
3.3.1 Couple the towing eye of the trailer to
the tractor hitch.
When hitching up the wagon, proceed as follows:
• Connect the electrical and hydraulic connections (see
3.4.1 / 3.4.2) and start up.
• If necessary, adjust the height of the trailer coupling to
the tractor hitch using the "articulated tow-bar UP/
DOWN" function on the electrical control box.
• Hitch up the towing eye.
• Slightly raise the articulated tow-bar in order to relieve
the stabilising foot (1).
• Retract the stabilising foot (1) and secure.
