2.16.6  Installing the Cold tap device

 Determine X as described

•  

Demount the support flange from the unit

•

 Weld the support flange onto the pipeline

(make sure that the flange is 100% parallel with the pipe and the bolts are already in place)

INFORMATION!

The installation of the OPTISONIC 1400 Cold tap in pipelines is done under atmospheric 
conditions and on empty, pressure-less pipelines. The device is intended to be welded on metal 
pipe lines only.
It is recommended that installation is performed and validated by trained personal.

INFORMATION!

Before starting the drilling, determine the location of the holes in the pipe section exactly.
