2.16 Installation
2.16.1 Path configurations and coding
The OPTISONIC 1000 transducers are paired and should be fitted together to make one acoustic
path.
Each transducer is marked with a 2 digit number. The first digit is the path number (1,2 or 3),
which is counted from bottom to top. The second number is the transducer number (1 or 2) of
which transducer 1 is always the upstream transducer.
The marking described above, is identical with the marking on the cable ends (individual coax
cables) and on the terminals in the connection box of the sensor and signal converter.
