2.16.3 Determine transducer position with a paper roll
The transducer positions are marked on a roll of paper for mounting of the transducers at the
right position. The next steps need to be followed:
Step 1
•
Fit the paper tightly around the pipe
•
Make sure that both the ends of the paper overlap each other
•
Cut the paper to the length (C) exactly.
Step 2
•
Fold the paper into half on side of circumference and mark the centre line of the paper
•
Draw three parallel lines as follows:
- line
1
; with a distance A away from the centre line
- line
2
; with a distance
¼
x C from the centre line
- line
3
; with a distance 2 x A away from the centre line
•
Do the same on the opposite side of centre line.

INFORMATION!
For one path configuration, you should draw line 2 only; For two paths configuration, you should
draw line 1 and line 3; For three path configuration, you should draw all three lines.
