PREPARATION
4.
If your tree is not standing straight enough, take a hold of the trunk at shoulder level and move it horizontally until you find
the optimal position. This secondary adjustment is facilitated by the flattened adjustment claws. Finally operate the foot pedal
again, pushing firmly from the top, until the tree can no longer be moved in the clamping fixture.
3.
Put the Christmas tree in your KRINNER Tree Stand, pushing the trunk on the central spike firmly. Operate the foot pedal several
times, pushing it downwards (B) with your foot (wear proper footwear for this), until you feel a firm resistance. The preliminary
setting allows the tree to stand by itself without any danger of tilting, while permitting finer adjustments to be made in the position
of the tree held by the clamping fixture. Step back a few steps and check if your tree is standingstraight.
1.
You will receive the Krinner Christmas tree stand in a locked condition. Unlock the lever lock (A) by pushing it sidewards.
2.
Push the foot lever (B) forcefully upwards, the clamping device will thereby open.
5.
Fill in water only after the tree is fixed. Fill in water slowly, as close as possible to the trunk of the tree, and between the clamps.
6.
Stop filling water into the tank, until you see the red water indicator (C) raising. The water tank is now full!

7.
To take down the tree, unlock the lever lock (D). Hold the upper part of the tree in place, and push the foot lever upwards with
the foot. The clamping device will open. Remove the Christmas tree from the tree stand by lifting it up vertically.
8.
Empty any remaining water from the tank (E). Clean and rinse thoroughly using water and a soft cloth. Dry well.
REMOVING THE TREE
Attention: Overfilling will result in water emerging under the base plate, which can give rise to damage, especially
underneath the Christmas tree stand.
!
When buying a tree, please make sure that:
- the trunk is cut off straight (there is a danger of tilting otherwise!)
- the trunk is not made pointed (the bark transports water)
- cut off 2 cm from the trunk (the tree can hardly absorb any water through the closed pores otherwise)
- all branches are removed from the trunk in the area of the adjustment claws (about 13 cm from the bottom end).
