Bus”
sends
the
output
of
oscillators

2
to
the
FX
control
bus.
Use
this
when
you
want
to
use
a
different
sound
to
control
the
sound
that’s
being
input
to
an
effect.

can
use
two

buses
to

control
the
sound

Insert effect
Here’s
how
to
adjust
settings
for
insert
effect
1.
You
can
adjust
settings
for
the
other
insert
effects
in
the
same
way.
1. Access
the
PROG
EDIT:
IFX1
screen,
and
press
the
button.
The
first
page
of
IFX1
is
the
selection
screen
for
insert
effect
1
(“IFX
Select”).
Press
the
button
once
again,
and
then
use
the
buttons
to
select
the
effect
type
for
insert
effect
1.
You
can
use
the
“Copy
IFX”
command
to
copy
effect
settings
from
another
effect.
The
“Swap
IFX”
command
lets
you
exchange
(for
example)
insert
effects
1
and
5.
If
you
press
the
button
to
enter
the
page
at
right,
you’ll
see
the
parameters
of
the
selected
insert
effect.

2. Adjust
settings
for
the
insert
effect
1
on/off
status
and
connections.
Use
“On/Off”
to
turn
insert
effect
1
On.
If
this
is
Off,
the
result
will
be
the
same
as
if
000:
No
Effect
is
selected;
the
input
sound
will
be
output
without
change.
3. Turn
“Chain”
On.
If
“Chain”
is
On,
the
insert
effect
will
be
connected
in
series.
Set
“Chain
To”
to
IFX2.
If
IFX2
is
selected,
the
insert
effects
will
be
connected
in
series
in
the
order
of
IFX1
IFX2.
The
connection
status
is
shown
in
the
upper
line
of
the
display.
4. Set
the
“Pan
(CC#8),”
“Bus,”
“FXCtrl
Bus,”
“Send1,”
and
“Send2”
parameters
to
specify
the
pan
and
routing
of
the
signal
following
the
insert
effect.
If
“Chain”
is
On,
the
settings
that
follow
the
last
insert
effect
will
be
used.
(“FXCtrl
Bus”
is
an
exception.)
“Pan
(CC#8)”:
Specifies
the
pan.
“Bus”:
Specifies
the
output
destination.
Normally
you’ll
set
this
to
L/R.
“Send1,”
“Send2”:
Specify
the
send
levels
to
the
master
effects.
For
this
example,
set
them
to
127.
“FXCtrl
Bus”:
The
sound
that
has
passed
through
the
insert
effect
is
then
sent
to
the
FX
control
bus.
This
allows
you
to
use
a
different
sound
to
control
the
input
to
an
effect.
You
can
use
two
FX
control
buses,
giving
you
a
wide
range
of
possibilities
for
controlling
the
effects.
