TIP
For the settings related to synchronization of external MIDI devices, refer
to the instruction manual of the device you are using.
When using this unit as the source and an external MIDI device as the follower
Connect the MIDI OUT connector of this unit to the MIDI IN connector of the ex
-
ternal MIDI device.
Set SOURCE in Global mode of this unit to “INT”, and set the external MIDI de
-
vice to receive external MIDI clock. Since this unit is the source, the BPM is set by
the TEMPO knob of this unit and MIDI timing clock is sent to the external MIDI
device (sequencer, rhythm machine, etc.).
When using an external MIDI device as the source and this unit as a follower
Connect the MIDI IN connector of this unit to the MIDI OUT connector of the ex
-
ternal MIDI device.
Set SOURCE in Global mode of this unit to "AUTO", and set the external MIDI de
-
vice to send the MIDI clock.
When receiving a MIDI timing clock, this unit is automatically set as a follower,
and the sequencer operates at the tempo of the external MIDI device (sequencer,
rhythm machine, etc.).
Please note that when SOURCE is USB or MIDI, the sequencer stops if no
external clock input is issued.

Connection to TO DEVICE (USB A) jack
You can play music by connecting a MIDI controller, etc. to this jack. For example, if
you connect KORG nanoPAD 2, you can trigger and play each part with Velocity.
Devices with high current consumption (5V/200mA or more) other than a
MIDI controller may not work.
