4.4. Filling of the heating system with water.
CAUTION! The installation and assembling of
heating system should be performed according your
country requirements by a service organization
authorized for performing of this operation.
4.4.1. It is obligatory to install the thermomanometer (with temperature
range from 0 up to 120 ºC and pressure range up to 4 bar) and 2 bar
pressure-relief valve for the heating system with forced circulation of water.
The places of mounting of the manometer and pressure-relief valve are
mentioned in p. 2.2.
4.4.2. All pipe thread connections should be sealed with oakum.
4.4.3. Fill the system with water and check for leaks.
4.4.4. Water for filling the boiler and heating system must be pure and
colorless, without suspended substances, oil and chemically aggressive
substances. The water hardness must not exceed the required parameters:

0,3 mg/l (total recommended value).
Even multiplying heating of the water with higher hardness does not
prevent from excluding of soils on the boiler drum walls.
The precipitation of 1 mm of limestone reduces the heat transfer from
metal to water up to 10 %.
ATTENTION! The water from boiler and heating
system must never be taken out for use except for cases
necessarily needed such as repairs, etc (see p. 1.1.1.). By
draining the water and filling with new one the risk of
rust and scale creation is increased.
4.4.5. Check all the joints for tightness once again.
4.5. Assembling of draft regulator.
Draft regulator should be ordered separately. Fix the draft regulator on its
mounting place with a help of female connector G¾“. Connect the one end
of the chain with draft regulator, the other to the air intake door flap of the
ash door.
