1.1.3. Requirements to boiler installation room.
CAUTION! Installing boiler in the living space is
prohibited!
The boiler for solid fuels can be installed by a company with a valid
authorization to perform its installation and maintenance.
The floor in the boiler room must be made of non-combustible materials
with a rough surface. Boiler room must be frost-proof.
The boiler room should be equipped with good ventilation so it must
allow continuous access of air necessary to maintain combustion.
The boiler must be placed on a steel sheet exceeding the boiler platform
over 100 mm at sides and 500 mm at front. It is also recommended to put a
basalt cardboard soaked with clay mortar under the steel sheet. Handling
space of minimum 1500 mm in front of the boiler must be maintained.
If the boiler is installed in a basement or cellar we recommend placing it
on a foundation of minimum 50 mm height.
In order to maintain space for access to the back part of the boiler of
minimum 600 mm at least from one lateral face.
1.1.4. Requirements to fuel placing.
It is recommended to keep distance of minimum 1000 mm between the
boiler and fuel or to place the fuel to another room than that where the boiler
is installed. It is disallowed to store fuel behind the boiler or to unload it
beside the boiler in the distance smaller than 400 mm.
2. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
“KORDI-10S” boiler designed to satisfy heating demands of small
residential dwellings as well as meals preparing. Heating boiler should be
used in closed water heating system with forced circulation. Operating
pressure is 2 bars, engineered for burning solid fuel only.
