Steering shaft
Rotary block on the swivel steering shaft
The rotary block on the swivel steering shaft should be lubricated via the grease nipple at least
once per year and each time after cleaning. The grease nipple is located behind the lower panel
(see fig. 35), this must not be removed. If the grease nipple has rotated somewhat, you can align
the swivel steering shaft so that you can access it easily with the grease gun.
6.
Twist-grip
The twist-grip on the steering shaft should be lubricated via the grease nipple at least once per
year or 25 hours of operation. The grease nipple is located on the bottom of the twist-grip hous-
ing (see fig. 36). Inject grease until it runs out of the upper outlet aperture.
