Maintenance
Important!
Protect the environment:
The handling and disposal of mineral oils are subject to legal regulations.
Take used oil to an authorised collection point.
Do not spill engine oil!
Take precautions to catch spilt oil – lay out an oilproof tarpaulin and use an oil collecting
pan.
2.
Power take-off gearbox
Check the oil level before putting into operation and after 25 hours of operation. Unscrew the
check screw (fig. 32) - oil is visible in the bore hole if the tractor is standing horizontally and
there is sufficient oil. Screw in the check screw firmly again.
Changing the oil - technical personnel only
The oil check screw, the vent screw and the drain plug (see fig. 31) and the surrounding areas
must be kept clean in order to avoid the ingress of dirt into the gearbox interior.
The gearbox oil must be exchanged after the first 25 hours of operation and after that eve-
ry 100 hours of operation, or once per year, with the gearbox at operating temperature.
See ‘Technical data’ for the oil filling quantity and oil quality!
