Troubleshooting
Conventions described in this section are described in Table 17.
5.1.
Reverting to Switch Factory Default
This may change the switch management IP address configuration and result in loss of
management connectivity.
To revert to the switch factory default configuration:
Switch Web User Interface
Switch CLI (serial, SSH, SOL)
Maintenance > Factory Defaults
Click Yes
# reload defaults
%Reloading defaults. Please stand by.

Rebooting the Switch
To reboot the switch:
Switch Web User Interface
Switch CLI (serial, SSH, SOL)
Maintenance > Restart Device
Click Yes
# reload cold
% Cold reload of all switches in stack in progress,
please stand by.

Viewing the Switch Log
To view switch log information:
Switch Web User Interface
Switch CLI (serial, SSH, SOL)
Monitor > System > Log
View log
Click on the ID number of the entry to access its
Detailed log
# show logging ?
A list of possible logs to view is displayed
