Upgrading the ShMC  

 

 

To update the ShMC of a MSH8900 series hub: 

System Monitor  

Not possible through a CLI-type interface 

Dashboard > OneClick Upgrade 
Click on advanced settings 
Select a component: HubNode1 or HubNode2 
  or 
Select a component model: MSH8900 
 
Click on the bundle settings 
Click on Change Bundle File 
Select the zipped file from its location in your 
network 
Click on Open 
 
Wait for the transfer to be completed 
Click on Start upgrade once available 
 

 

Notes 

 

This operation must be done for each ShMC. 
 

API calls available to upgrade the ShMC 

 

 

 

 
ShMC firmware updates will interrupt network connectivity of devices in the platform 

where the MSH8900 hub is operating.
