There is one IDE connector for each adapter on your machine, usually labeled "Primary IDE"
and "Secondary IDE." There are usually two connectors on each ribbon cable attached to each
IDE connector. In a two drive configuration, the order of placement of Device 0 and Device 1
on the ATA interface cable is not significant to the operation of the interface. If only a single
device is attached via the ATA interface to a host, it is recommended that the host and the de-
vice be placed at the two ends of the cable.
If you need to change your drive settings, selecting one of the Master or Slave drives on the
Main Menu displays a sub-menu, as follows:

Use the legend keys listed on the bottom to make your selections and exit to the Main Menu.
