Clearing Printout Paper Jams

Find out where the paper is jammed.

Paper Jam in the Paper Cassette

If the paper is jammed in the paper cas-
sette, carefully remove it as shown.

Paper Jam inside the Fusing Unit

Note
Take care not to dirty your hands when removing the paper.
The inside of the fusing unit can be very hot!
If the error message still appears on the display, check whether anoth-
er piece of paper is jammed inside the machine.

Open the top cover pressing the re-
lease buttons on both sides of the
machine.

Remove the toner cartridge from the
machine.
