Function • Resets the transfer roller counter.
Use • To use when the transfer roller has been replaced.
Setting
/procedure 1. Call the service menu to the screen.
2. Select [SUPPLIES]
→
[REPLACE]
→
[TRANS. ROLLER], and select “YES.”
3. Press the menu/select key and reset the counter.
Function • Resets the fuser unit counter.
Use • To use when the fuser unit has been replaced.
Setting
/procedure 1. Call the service menu to the screen.
2. Select [MAINTENANCE MENU]
→
[SUPPLIES]
→
[REPLACE]
→
[FUSER UNIT],
and select “YES.”
3. Press the menu/select key and reset the counter.
Function • Reinitializes the user password used for the “INTERFACE MENU / SYSTEM
DEFAULT MENU / MAINTENANCE MENU” set by user.
Use • To reinitialize the user password when the menu cannot be opened even when enter-
ing the correct password.
• To reinitialize the user password when the user forgets the password.
YES : Initialize password
NO
: Not initialize password
Setting
/procedure 1. Select “RESTORE PASSWORD” and press the Menu/Select key.
2. Select “YES” and press the Menu/Select key.
3. Return the password set at “INTERFACE MENU/SYSTEM DEFAULT MENU/MAIN-
TENANCE MENU” to “0000.”
• The default setting is NO.
