Service and maintenance
General rules applicable to lubrication
• Remove old grease and dirt from the nipples.
• Grease until clean grease appears.
• Only use the recommended grease.
• All sliding bearings must be relieved in order for the grease to be
able to penetrate.
• Sliding bearings require frequent greasing with small amounts of
grease. Roller bearings require more grease but are not greased as
often.
• Also check the function and bearing play when greasing.
• The stated greasing intervals are applicable under beneficial
conditions. For more demanding applications, more frequent
greasing intervals are recommended. This is in particular true
for sliding bearings.
