Remove old gasket from the floor and
closet flange with a putty knife.
Remove old T-bolts and discard them.
if a new toilet is not installed
immediately, temporarily stuff a rag in
the closet flange.

This product is designed to work with either wall or
floor mounted electrical and water supplies. Both types are
shown in the rough-in art.
Connect only to
circuits protected by Ground-Fault Circuit-Interrupters
(GFCI s) or Earth-Leakage Circuit-Breakers (ELCB s).
When the electrical supply is mounted on the wall, a GFCI or
ELCB protected and water proof receptacle is required.
Follow the dimensional information exactly when installing a
hardwire electrical supply.

A. To Remove Existing Toilet
Turn off the water supply. Flush the toilet, and use a sponge
to remove the remaining water from the tank and bowl.
Disconnect the supply shut-off valve (if present), and remove
the old tank and bowl.

INSTALLATION
C. Install the T-Bolts
Install two new 8mm (5/16") diameter
T-bolts into the floor flange.
Do not use white cement or high lime
content cements to install this toilet.
The expansion of cement due to a rise
in temperature may make the toilet
crack or cause damage. Kohler is not
responsible for any damage caused by
installation with the use of cement.
