3.3 Functional description

The grinding machine can be used to automatically sharpen slicer knives (sickle-shaped or circular
knives) with a size of maximum 900 mm.

The slicer knife is clamped onto a cam disc and sharpened along the knife edge by the grinding
wheel precisely according to its shape.

In the event of an emergency, the grinding machine can immediately be stopped by pressing the
“Emergency Stop” button
