Disassembling and Cleaning of an Analytical 10 mm
Flow Cell
1. Unscrew the fiber optical connector with a wrench.
2. Remove the black lens holder that carries the lens with a pair of
tweezers or by gently tapping it on a clean surface. The lens is
embedded in the lens holder and sealed against the flow path with a
PEEK seal.
3. Take out the lenses and clean them by wiping them with a soft cloth
or with an appropriate solvent in an ultrasonic bath. Be careful not to
touch the clean lenses directly.
4. Reassemble the cell in the reverse manner.
5. Tighten the fiber optical connectors carefully in order not to damage
the lenses.
