IV. Advanced operation

Note:

Before installing this product, please make sure your device has the built-in

Bluetooth

®

feature available.

A. Pairing the speaker with your mobile device in Bluetooth

®

 mode

1. Turn on the speaker.

2. Set your

Bluetooth

®

phone to “discover” the wireless speaker.

3. The

Bluetooth

®

indicator LED will start blinking to indicate that the device has entered into

the pairing mode and is ready to be detectable for the first time.

4. Tap the newly discovered audio device

(KBS-600)

displayed on your mobile phone, in

the

Bluetooth

®

 list.

5. If you have a lower

Bluetooth

®

version, you may be prompted to enter the passkey

0000

(4 zeros).

6. If pairing is successful, a tone will be heard, and the LED light will turn solid blue. If after 60

seconds the pairing process fails, please repeat steps 1 through 6 described above.

7. We recommend turning off the device when not in use. The speaker will shut off

automatically after a period of inactivity, as long as it is not in the

Bluetooth

®

 mode.

Note:

 The speaker will connect to

Bluetooth

®

automatically if the device supports automatic

connection.

B. Pairing the speaker with your mobile device in TWS mode

1. Power on the two

KBS-600

speakers and make sure they are both in pairing mode.

2. Press and hold the Multi-function button      on one of the units (this one will become

your master unit) for approximately 4 seconds or until you see the

Bluetooth

®

 LED stops

blinking on the second unit (a tone will also be emitted). Once you hear the tone, TWS

pairing was successful.

Note:

the master unit will remain in pairing mode.

3. Release the multi-function button once the TWS pairing has successfully paired both

speakers, as per previous step.

4. Follow section A above to connect the master speaker to

Bluetooth

®

C. Unpairing speaker from TWS mode

Briefly press the power button     on the master unit, the

Bluetooth

®

 LED on the second unit

will start blinking (a tone will also be emitted).  Once you hear the tone, TWS un-pairing

was successful.

B. Turning the speaker units on or off

• To turn on the speaker, press and hold the Power      button for about 2 seconds.

• The

Bluetooth

®

indicator LED will turn on and you will hear a tone. The

Bluetooth

®

 LED

will momentarily turn on, then flash indicating that is ready for pairing mode or become

solid once it is paired to a device.

• Press and hold the Power      button again for 2 seconds to turn off the speaker. The

Bluetooth

®

LED will turn off and you will hear an audio tone.

C. Using the speaker in Auxiliary mode

• Connect one end of the 3.5mm stereo cable into the auxiliary port on the speaker.

• Proceed to connect the other side of the 3.5mm stereo cable into the media device of

choice, such as a laptop, MP3/4 player, smartphone or tablet.

• Turn on the speaker. The Speaker will automatically connect to Aux in, and you will hear

a prompt.

• If it doesn't connect, briefly press the power button on the speaker to select the Aux in

mode or the mode of choice.

• Select the input mode of choice using the source button on the unit.
