6 Additional assembly, adjustment and trial run
6.1 Mounting and assembly of mowers
Before starting operation of the mower, carry out its re-conservation by removing the
lubricant from the outer conserved surfaces, wiping them with rags soaked in solvents in
accordance with GOST 8505-80, GOST 3134-78, then dry or wipe dry with rags.
Check the condition of the assemblies and parts to be assembled, correct any defects found.
To prevent departure from the working area of foreign objects, you should install the awning,
attaching it to the frame with special clamps.
For normal operation of the mower, do not lower the tractor hitch (measured along the axes
of the hitch with respect to the ground) below (485 ± 25) mm and raise it higher (865 ± 25)
mm.
6.2 Preparation of the tractor hitch system for working with mowers
Adjust the center rod, thus its length is 750 mm. Adjust the braces thus the hinges of the
linkage are on the frame axis.
Turn on the hydromechanism of the tractor and lower its attachment to its lowest position.
Unclip the power levers and remove from the splines of the swivel shaft. Turn the power levers to
install the rear ends of the longitudinal rods so that the holes in the spherical hinges are at a
height of (485 ± 25) mm. At this position, put the power levers on the splines of the swivel shaft
and lock them. Maximum lift to the upper position, limit the installation of the clamp on the rod of
the hydraulic cylinder
.
6.3 Preparation of the tractor for mower hanging
Set the tractor wheels, thus, the distance between the center of the tires of the rear wheels
(gauge) is 1600 mm. If this condition is not observed, the wheels will mow down the mown
grass.
The pressure in the tires of the wheels should be no more than:
- front wheels - 2,5 kgf / cm²;
- rear wheels - 1,4 kgf / cm².
Remove the trailer bracket and PTO cover from the tractor.
Install extension cords on the lower tractor arms if they were removed.
6.4 Mounting of mower to the tractor
Connect the lower axles of the three-point mower hinge to the tractor's hitch.
