Manual transmission controls
The device has no reverse gear. To move in the opposite direction, turn the wheelchair using the push-rims on the wheels of the
wheelchair; while doing this, keep one hand on the grips of the device. This will enable you to control the direction of movement
and prevent the cables (electrical and mechanical) from getting twisted with consequent damage and/or breakage.
CAUTION
Using the Klick device in reverse gear could cause it to malfunction if the cables get damaged and/or
broken and accidentally activate the accelerator lever if the device is on with a forward gear engaged.
With regard to this, before moving backwards, the forward gear must be set to “0” and the device must
be turned off. Failure to follow these indications could cause damage to the user and third parties (people
and/or property).
A. ELECTRIC mode
Having installed the device, turned on the display and selected a forward speed, the device will start to move when the accelerator
control is activated. To stop the device, activate the brake lever (Figure 26). The KLICK brake is equipped with an additional motor
deactivating safety mechanism when the lever is activated.
DANGER
If there are any obstacles, drops or hazards of any other kind not situated at a safe distance, turn off the
KLICK device and move the wheelchair to a safe place.
