NOTE: The door spring will remain under slight
tension when the door is closed.

Use a pair of pliers and lift the end of the
linkage off the square post.

Remove the door switch & bracket for the
refrigerator or freezer door (see page 4-4
for the procedure).

With the door closed, remove the hex-
head screw from the door linkage at the
top of the door.

Place a support under the door that you
are removing to prevent it from falling.

Remove the four hex-head screws from
the door hinge.

Grasp the door firmly and lift it off the
bottom hinge pin.
