fumes from uncured
neoprene cement.
These fumes are
dangerous and can

ness. They can also
cause long term
damage to body tis-
sue. Read and fol-
low all precautions
listed on the neo-
prene cement can.
Allow neoprene
cement to cure for
a minimum of 24
hours before using
helmet.
8.3.2 Nose Block Device Replacement
1) Prior to reassembly, lubricate the two o-rings.
The threads of the nose block penetrator should be lubricated
periodically. All of the parts of the nose block device (with
the exception of the o-ring that seals on the back side of the
port retainer) can be seen here.
2) Slide the shaft through oral nasal mask in the
helmet shell.
