3. 3. 9 User Mode 8: Short Interval Setting Mode
This mode allows you to select function of Interval shortened.
1) Select User Mode 8 “U8”, pressing [ ] or [ ] key.
U 8. o n :
Short Interval function is selected.
U 8. o F F :
Short Interval function is cancelled. (Normal operation)
2) Press
[Enter]
key in order to make this function effective then the selected setting is fixed.

When this Short Interval Mode is selected, the interval between paper and next paper
become short. Therefore, print comes faster.
However, if “Image Area Expanded Mode” is selected at the same time, the possibility of
dirty image gets higher.
Even if “Image Area Expanded Mode” is not selected at the same time, dirty imgae might
happen due to improper adjustment of trailing edge margin.
