7. Remove the USB flash drive as described in “Backing up the event log” on
page 29
Disabling or enabling system features or devices
Caution:
Changes to disable / enable configuration at this user level are not
stored in the control panel configuration and will not be included in any saved
configuration files.
Use this option to disable or enable the following system features or devices:
• Zones (including remote zones if your control panel forms part of a fire
network)
• Devices
• Control panel inputs and outputs
• Sounder and fire routing activation groups (including remote sounder and fire
routing activation groups if your control panel forms part of a fire network)
Note the following:
• Loop devices and programmed configurable outputs can only be disabled or
enabled from the local control panel
• Active outputs cannot be disabled
• Devices or zones in alarm will not be disabled until the control panel is
manually reset
To disable a system feature or device:
1. Select Control from the main menu
2. Select Disable/Enable
3. Select the corresponding option (zones, devices etc.)
4. Select the element to be disabled and press the jog dial to confirm the
disablement
5. Press F2 (Exit) to exit the menu
Repeat to enable a disabled feature or device.
WARNING:
Disabled features and devices do not indicate faults or fire alarms.
