Carefully turn the chassis over onto its top.

Refer to the photograph on the next page. Remove the four plastic feet from
the bottom of each bumper (8 feet total). Each foot is attached to the chassis
through the bumper with a small #2 Phillips screw retained at the back of the
foot with a plastic washer. Loosen each screw just enough to disengage from
the chassis; the foot, screw and washer will remain intact.
Install the instrument so that the detachable power cord is readily identifiable
and is easily reached by the operator. The detachable power cord is the
instrument disconnecting device. It disconnects the mains circuits from the
mains supply before other parts of the instrument. The front panel switch is only
a standby switch and is not a LINE switch. The unit is also equipped with a circuit
breaker in the rear of the unit. This switch also removes power from the
instrument but is not considered the disconnecting device.
