Introduction
Keysight's M8920A Radio Test Set supports many formats by combining PXIe
hardware with application-specific software in a single flexible and scalable chassis.
This provides broad multi-format coverage for next generation radio testing.
Using the Radio Test Measurement application, you can access and control multiple
instruments on one screen while viewing a variety of critical measurements at the
same time.
Features include:
Cover all necessary analog AM and FM modulation test requirements.
Test APCO P1/P2, TETRA1, DMR, dPMR. ARIB. and custom modulation
formats.
Test commercial connectivity formats including WLAN, LTE, Bluetooth™, and so
on.
All measurements can be performed with on click of a button.
The scope of this Getting Started Guide is to detail the processes of receiving and
installing the hardware and software required to operate the Getting Started
GuideKeysight M8920A PXIe Radio Test Set. This test set primarily consists of three
modules and a software application:
Keysight M9421A VXT PXIe Vector Transceiver module (VXT)
Keysight M9470A PXIe 50 W RF Interface module (50 W RF Interface)
Keysight M9260A PXIe Audio Analyzer module (Audio Analyzer)
N9093 Radio Test mode
Steps 1 - 7 cover the basics of setting up and configuring the M8920A Radio Test Set,
which includes downloading and installing the N9093 Radio Test mode on to your
PXIe embedded controller or external controller attached to the PXIe chassis.
