FIG. 3
Activate steam.
To activate steam from gun, press Switch B (FIG. 1, SWITCH B), and then press the steam button
on gun (FIG. 4).
The electrical valve remains activated until Power Switch is turned off .
(FIG.1, SWITCH C), OFF – 0.
In the event of temporary electrical blackout, relay will automatically switch
OFF electrical valve circuit to avoid accidental steam release. You may reactivate
electrical valve lowvoltage circuit by pressing Switch B (FIG. 1, SWITCH B).
FIG. 4
Regulate steam.
Steam fl ow is regulated by rotating Regulation Knob located next to the Filling Cap at the top of
unit (FIG. 5).
ATTENTION:
If initial steam capacity is low, allow pressure to rebuild for continuous steam
release.
At the end of daily use, turn off Power Switch (FIG. 1, SWITCH C) without
releasing the pressure.
ATTENTION:
Water level must be checked daily to ensure it does not fall under minimum level
reference shown on front panel (FIG. 3). If water level is low, follow procedures to refi ll tank.

MAINTENANCE
•
Cleaning must be done with Power Switch off (0) position and the unit unplugged. For
external cleaning, wipe with a soft, damp cloth. If using cleaning techniques diff erent
from the ones indicated, the operator must contact the manufacturing company.
•
In case of prolonged inactivity, unit should be unplugged.
•
For transport, always empty tank and use original packaging.
ANY AND ALL SERVICING should be done ONLY BY INSTRUCTED, TECHNICAL PERSONNEL.
Consult your Manufacturer/Distributor for information.
Drainage of residual calcium in tank.
THIS OPERATION TO BE CONDUCTED BY INSTRUCTED, TECHNICAL PERSONNEL ONLY
Every 6 months of operating, drainage of residual calcium in tank must be carried out with the
following procedure:
RELEASE ALL PRESSURE INSIDE THE TANK.
Confi rm that unit is cold and all internal pressure has been released. Unplug the unit. Lay unit
on its left side. Unscrew nut located under the base of tank. Place a receptacle or container of at
least 1 GALLON (4 LITERS) capacity underneath the unit.
Remove nut from tank. Remove Filling Cap (FIG.2) and completely discharge all residual water.
To rinse tank, add 1 GALLON (4 LITERS) of water with provided funnel. Replace nut under the
tank, placing Tefl on tape on the thread (approximately 8-9 complete turns).
Plug in unit and
fi ll tank with distilled water.
Check to ensure there are no leaks under pressure.
TROUBLESHOOTING
The unit is not turning on:
•
Confi rm unit is plugged in.
•
Check that power is on at the electrical outlet.
Reduced steam fl ow in relation to the pressure indicated on the gauge:
•
Check that steam-fl ow Regulation Knob (FIG. 5) is completely opened.
Boiling noise coming from tank heating (rare operation):
•
Discharge by pressing the steam-release switch on hand gun to release bubbles.
After the pressure is reached, limited steam is coming out:
•
The machine’s components are cold. Please allow necessary time to warm up all
internal components (15-20 minutes at maximum pressure 51 PSI (3.5 Bar) without
release of steam).
After an electrical blackout the steam does not come out:
•
The safety relay has automatically turned OFF the electrical valve. To reactivate the
electrical valve low-voltage circuit, press Switch B (FIG. 1, SWITCH B).
