using the VOLUME keys.

“S.DIRECT” ...... The source signal from a CD or
TAPE can be reproduced with high
fidelity to the original sound by
bypassing the tone control cir-
cuitry in the main unit.
Goes off ........... The source signal is processed by
the tone control circuitry before
being output from the main unit.
“N.B.1” ............. The lowest and highest frequen-
cies are enhanced according to
the current volume level.
“N.B.2” ............. Only the lowest frequencies are
enhanced.
The low frequencies (Bass), medium frequencies
(Mid) and high frequencies (Treble) can be adjusted
separately.
